Generator (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L) — removal and installation (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Section 303-05 for additional information.

3. Remove the generator electrical connector cover.

4. Disconnect the generator electrical connectors.



5. Remove the lower generator bolt.



6. Remove the generator.

• 1. Unscrew the bolt and nut.
• 2. Remove the generator.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
