Removal
All cars
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Section 303-05 for additional information.
3. Remove the lower engine shield.
4. Remove the generator electrical connector cover.
5. Disconnect the generator electrical connectors.
Cars equipped with air conditioning system
6. Disconnect the air conditioning compressor and secure it to the side.
All cars
7. Remove the pulley bracket bolts.
8. Remove the generator coupling. Loosen the three bolts.
9. Remove the generator.
Installation
All cars
1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
