To adjust the throttle cable:

- remove the adjusting clamp (Fig. 141) from the throttle rod on the cable and remove the cable;
- ask an assistant to press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it in this position;
- insert the clamp again;
- release the accelerator pedal and press it again;
- check that the throttle valve can open fully;
- release the accelerator pedal and check if the throttle lever returns to the idle position again;
- start the engine, do not press the accelerator pedal and check the stability of the engine at idle speed.
