Observe the following precautions when working on the power system:
- before starting work, disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery;
- exclude the possibility of cables touching the battery terminals;
- remove fuel from the tank only in the open air. To do this, you will need an appropriate pumping device (e.g. bellows pump);
Warning: Never pour fuel through the fuel level sensor opening by tipping over or sucking it with your mouth - this can lead to poisoning by toxic fuel additives!
- keep a fire extinguisher nearby (foam or powder);
- never drain fuel over an inspection ditch. Evaporating gases are heavier than air and can accumulate in the pit. This may result in poisoning or an explosion hazard;
- make sure that while working with fuel there are no switched on electrical appliances, open flames, sources of heat and sparks in the room;
- Fuel may only be poured into a clearly marked, lockable container. For this, there are special containers with ignition protection and constipation with a pressure equalizer;
- there are residual gases in the empty fuel tank. They are also dangerous, so do all work very carefully.
