Warning: When replacing the fuel filter, fuel may leak. Be sure to take the necessary precautions.
To replace the fuel filter:
- place the rear of the car on supports and find the filter on the guiding edge of the tank;

- disconnect and remove both wires attached to the filter (pic. 139). At the same time, avoid fuel leaks;
- unscrew the clamping screw of the filter clamp and remove the filter from the side. The filter housing is marked with an arrow that indicates the direction of fuel flow.

Install in reverse order. Pay attention to the location of the arrow. Put on both fuel lines and secure in the manner shown in fig. 195. After installation, start the engine and check for leaks.
