Warning: Fuel may leak when replacing the fuel filter. Be sure to take the necessary precautions.
To replace the fuel filter:
- place the rear of the vehicle on supports and locate the filter on the guide edge of the tank;

- Disconnect and remove both wires connected to the filter (Fig. 139). Avoid fuel leaks when doing this;
- unscrew the clamping screw of the filter clamping band and remove the filter from the side. There is an arrow on the filter housing that indicates the direction of fuel flow.

Install in reverse order. Pay attention to the arrow position. Put on both fuel lines and secure as shown in Fig. 195. After installation, start the engine and check for leaks.
