Replacing the fuel pump (Mondeo 2)

This operation is carried out without removing the gas tank or other large components.

To replace the fuel pump:

- disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery;

- remove the rear seat and the rubber covering underneath it;

- remove the multi-pin plug from the pump and unscrew the pump with a toothed wrench (Fig. 140);

- remove the pump.

Install in reverse order. Make sure the sealing ring is installed correctly in the gas tank opening.
