Fuel pump replacement

This operation is carried out without removing the gas tank or other large components.

To replace the fuel pump:

- disconnect the wire from the terminal «–» battery;

- Remove a back seat and a rubber covering under it;

- remove the multi-pin plug from the pump and unscrew the pump with a toothed wrench (pic. 140);

- remove the pump.

Install in reverse order. Make sure that the sealing ring is installed correctly in the gas tank opening.
