Exhaust gas recirculation (AGR) system

This system serves to reduce the content of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gases. Part of the exhaust gases is directed to the intake manifold, which leads to a decrease in the temperature in the combustion chamber and, as a result, to a decrease in the content of nitrogen oxide.

The functioning and adjustment of the exhaust gas recirculation system is carried out using a self-diagnosis system.
