1. Remove the suspension arm by unscrewing the nut of the bolt securing the arm to the engine suspension crossmember.

2. Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the castellated nut of the ball joint of the lever from the steering knuckle and press the ball joint of the lever out of the steering knuckle using a puller.

3. Unscrew the nut securing the stabilizer to the arm and remove the front metal washer and front rubber ring.

4. Disconnect and remove the transverse arm.

5. Place tool 14.027 in a vice to remove the metal-rubber bushing, suspension arm and corresponding auxiliary bushing.

6. Press the metal-rubber bushing out of the lever.

7. Dip the new metal-rubber control arm pivot bushing in soapy water and place the bushing, fixture, and auxiliary bushing in a vice.

8. Press the metal-rubber bushing into the hole in the suspension arm.

9. Insert the lever into the suspension cross member and onto the end of the stabilizer.

10. Install the front rubber ring and front metal washer; tighten the stabilizer mounting nut to the lever to the appropriate torque.

11. Insert the ball joint of the lever into the steering knuckle, tighten the crown nut to the appropriate torque and secure it with a cotter pin.

Caution! If after tightening the crown nut to the appropriate torque the cotter pin cannot be inserted, continue tightening the nut to an angle that will make it possible to insert the cotter pin (do not unscrew the crown nut).

12. Insert the bolt that secures the control arm to the engine mount crossmember and screw on the new self-locking nut without tightening it.

13. After lowering the vehicle, tighten in two stages (see subsection 9.1.1) the nut of the bolt securing the lever to the engine mount crossmember.
