Replacing the rubber wiper pad (Focus Turnier 1)

Fold the wiper arm away from the glass.

Pull the windshield wiper blade retaining spring off the arm until the notch becomes visible.

Press the wiper blade down and remove it from the arm.

On one side, the rubber pad is secured with two clips by the windshield wiper blade. Press the bulges on the rubber pad with a screwdriver until the rubber pad comes out of the clips.

Then remove the rubber pad along with both metal spring strips in the other direction.

Remove the metal spring strips from the rubber wiper pad.

Install the new windshield wiper pad in reverse order.

When installing the windshield wiper blade, make sure that the retaining spring enters the grooves on the windshield wiper arm with an audible sound. Check visually - otherwise, the windshield wipers will "fly off" from the glass during the next rain.
