Dismantling
Make sure the wiper motor is in the park position. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the windshield wiper arms as described above.
Remove the air intake grille. To do this, disconnect the protective cap clips (arrows) and unscrew the fastening screws.
Remove the protective cap from the windshield wiper motor, disconnect the combination connector from the windshield wiper motor. Unscrew the three screws and remove the motor with the linkage.
Mark the position of the pivot arm relative to the mounting plate.
Unscrew the pivot arm mounting nut and remove the wiper motor from the mounting panel.
Remove the protective caps from the clamps.
Installation
Place the wiper motor in the park position.
Insert the wiper linkage guide pins, then install the screws.
Assemble all parts in reverse order.
Check the operation of the windshield wipers, if necessary, readjust the windshield wiper arms on the glass.
