Removing and installing the front windshield wiper motor (Mondeo 3)

Dismantling

ORDER OF EXECUTION

First make sure the wiper motor is in the rest position. Then press the ground wire and remove the wiper arm as described above.
Remove the fairing grille (shown by arrows and...
... remove the fairing sheets from the mounting slots.
The windscreen wiper motor is removed together with the rod and lever system. Loosen the three mounting screws (indicated by arrows), remove the cable connector, disconnect the connector from the windscreen wiper motor and then pull the windscreen wiper together with the rod system out of the ventilation shaft.
Now mark the position of the pivot arm on the mounting plate, then remove the arm and unscrew the motor from the mounting plate.

Installation

ORDER OF EXECUTION

First, screw the wiper motor to the mounting plate with a tightening torque of 8 Nm.
Check that the engine is in park and...
...install the pivot arm according to the markings and tighten the nut securely to a tightening torque of 26 Nm.
Complete the installation in reverse order.
Check the operation and center the wiper nozzles on the glass.
