Removal
Remove the windshield wiper linkage system.
Using a B-type open-end wrench, press rod A off the windshield wiper motor crank.
Loosen the crank mount to the electric motor axle.
Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the electric motor and remove the electric motor
Remove the cover from the electric motor
Installation
Caution: Before installation, check whether the electric motor is in the home position. To do this, briefly connect the multi-pin plug connector and connect the battery ground wire. Briefly turn on the electric motor and turn it off with the windshield wiper switch to return the electric motor to the home position.
Place the cover on the electric motor.
Place the electric motor, screw it in and tighten the 3 mounting bolts to a torque of 5 Nm.
Place the crank on the electric motor axle and tighten the fastening to a torque of 12 Nm.
Place the drive rod on the spherical head of the crank and secure with pliers.
Install the windshield wiper linkage system.
