Removal
Wet the rear window glass with water.
Run the windshield wiper for about one minute and turn it off using the switch. This will cause the windshield wiper to stop in its original position.
Mark the initial position of the wiper blade on the glass using adhesive tape. To do this, stick a strip of adhesive tape on the glass directly next to the wiper blade. When installing, the wiper arm is placed on the support pins in a position where the blade is located directly next to the strip of adhesive tape.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Caution: When the battery is disconnected, the contents of electronic memory devices, such as engine fault codes or radio codes, are erased. Before disconnecting, also read the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".

Remove the windshield wiper arm. To do this, fold back the plastic cap "C".
Loosen the fastening nut "D" by approximately 2 turns.
Lift the lever from the glass (position -A) and fold it upwards (position "B"). By rocking the lever in the direction of the "arrow", move it from the support cone. Move the firmly seated lever using the HAZET 1966-5 impact screwdriver.
Lower the wiper arm back onto the window glass. Unscrew the nut from the support and remove the arm.
Open the rear door and unscrew the screws securing its trim. Remove the trim.

Unscrew the 3 "arrow" bolts securing the windshield wiper motor. Disconnect the multi-pin plug connector of the motor and remove it together with the holder.
Remove the 3 bolts securing the electric motor to the holder.
Installation
Caution: Before installation, check whether the electric motor is in the home position. To do this, briefly connect the multi-pin plug connector and connect the battery ground wire. Briefly turn on the electric motor and turn it off with the windshield wiper switch to return the electric motor to the home position.
Place the electric motor on the holder, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
Place the electric motor holder against the rear door and tighten the mounting bolts to 10 Nm.
Connect the multi-pin plug connector of the electric motor.
Place and secure the rear door trim.
Install the windshield wiper arm. To do this, align the arm with the strip of adhesive tape on the glass and place it on the support.
Place the spring washer and tighten the lever with the nut to a torque of 10 Nm.
Connect the ground (-) cable to the battery.
If available, set the clock and enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
Wet the rear window glass with water. Turn on the windshield wiper and check its operation, replace the windshield wiper blade if necessary.
Attention: After checking the operation of the windshield wiper on wet glass, tighten the lever mounting nut to a torque of 10 Nm.
