SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the wiper arm.

2. Unscrew nut 3 (Fig. 3.28) from the drive shaft.

3. Open the trunk and remove the interior trim (one plastic screw, nine clips). Using a wide-blade screwdriver, carefully pry up and, using a rag, remove the stamped part from the trunk lid cutout or brackets.



4. Unscrew the ground wire fastening 10.

5. Disconnect the universal connector 11 from the gear motor.

6. Unscrew the 8 motor reducer mounting bolts and remove the motor reducer together with the mount from the trunk lid cutout.

7. Remove the rubber attachment 5 from the drive shaft.

8. Unscrew the three bolts 9 securing the gear motor.

9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

10. After installation, check the operation of the windshield wiper. If necessary, adjust the position of the windshield wiper arm on the glass.
