Rear window wiper motor — removal and installation

Withdrawal

CAUTION: Disconnect the ground wire from the battery. See Section 414-01 for more information.

NOTE: Make sure the wiper motor is in the idle position.

Remove the wiper arm.

• Lift up the plastic cover and loosen the nut about two turns.
• Raise the wiper arm and remove it from the conical element by sliding it to the side.
• Remove the nut and remove the wiper arm.

2. Detach the cover.

• Turn out two bolts.
• Disconnect ten clamps.

3. Remove the wiper motor.

• 1.Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
• 2. Remove the ground wire.
• Turn out three bolts.

4. Remove the wiper motor from the bracket.

Installation

NOTE: Make sure the wiper motor is in the idle position.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.

2. Check the operation of the wipers.
