Removing the jets (Fiesta 4)

Clogged jets should be removed immediately and blown with compressed air in the direction of the water hose connection. If there is no compressed air, you can clean the jet with a thin wire. If this does not help, replace it. To prevent clogging of the jet, insert a regular fuel filter into the hose.



SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. Open the hood and remove the soundproofing panel, having first removed the fasteners with a screwdriver.

2. Before disconnecting the hose from the jet, warm it up a little with a lighter.

3. Squeeze the fastening tabs and simultaneously push the jet out of the hood (or pry it up with a screwdriver, placing a rag under the screwdriver, for example, so as not to damage the paintwork).

4. To install, insert the jet from the outside into the hood until you hear a click. Be sure to check that the jet is firmly in place, otherwise it will be impossible to adjust.

5. Connect the hose to the jet

6. Secure the sound insulation panel.
