Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and drain the coolant from the cooling system. Disconnect the upper hose from the radiator. For JPA, LPA, LUA, LRA and L7 engines, disconnect the hose from the radiator that connects it to the expansion tank. Disconnect the electric fan connector. Unscrew the two radiator mounting bolts and remove the radiator 1 (fig. 2.63), guide casing 3 and electric fan 4 as an assembly.
Disconnect the casing and electric fan from the radiator. Before installing the radiator, check the condition of the radiator itself, hoses and rubber radiator cushions. Fasten the casing and electric fan to the radiator. Install the radiator with the casing and electric fan on the lower crossbar 2 and fasten its upper part with two bolts.
Connect the electric fan connector. Connect the lower radiator hose and, for JPA, LPA, LUA, LRA and L7 engines, the hose to the expansion tank. Connect the upper hose and fill the system with coolant. Start the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
