Checking the windshield washer pump and headlight lenses

Windshield washer pump or headlight lenses: open engine compartment hood.

Rear window washer pump: Unscrew the upper plastic screw securing the luggage compartment side trim and remove the side jack.



Windshield washer pump or headlight lens: Disconnect multi-pin connector for windshield washer pump -D- or headlight lens washer pump -C-. A - mounting screws, B - washer fluid level indicator sensor.

Rear window washer pump: Disconnect multi-pin connector for rear window washer pump -C- A - filler pipe, B - fixing screws.

Connect a voltage measuring device to the plug connector. Turn on the ignition and apply power to the pump through the washer switch. If the pump has not worked and voltage is applied, the pump must be replaced. If no voltage is applied, check the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram. To perform this check, you can use a test lamp

To check the headlight washer pump, in addition to turning on the washer system, you must also turn on the dipped beam. If voltage is applied, the pump must be replaced. If no voltage is applied, check the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram. You can also use a test lamp to perform this test.
