Checking the windshield wipers (Escort 5)

1. Check the condition of the windshield wipers; if they are torn or show any signs of wear, or do not clean the glass well, they must be replaced.

2. To remove the wiper blade: Pull the wiper arm away from the glass. Rotate the blade 90°. Press the locking button with your finger and slide the wiper blade out of the curved end of the arm.
