Checking the engine oil level

Park the vehicle on a level, level surface. Check the oil level at least 5 minutes after the engine has been turned off. If you have to frequently add engine oil to the engine, check for engine oil leaks from the engine.

1. Remove the dipstick to measure the oil level.



2. Wipe the dipstick clean and insert a clean dipstick back into the engine. then extract it again.



3. By the presence of oil on the dipstick, check the engine oil level. The volume of oil between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick is 0.5 to 1.0 liters.



4. If necessary, add oil through the engine oil filler cap.
