Checking the coolant level

            0

Antifreeze is used in the cooling system all year round. therefore, at any time of the year, only antifreeze must be topped up. If water has been added to the cooling system, add antifreeze concentrate to the coolant as soon as possible until the required density is obtained.

1. Coolant level changes with engine temperature. When the engine is cold, the coolant level should be below the "MAX" on the expansion tank. When the engine is hot, the level may rise above the mark "MAX".

2. Add antifreeze to a cold engine. Slowly unscrew the expansion tank cap to relieve pressure in the cooling system. Add a mixture of water and antifreeze through the neck of the expansion tank until the level reaches the mark "MAX".
