Front windshield wipers
Mark the resting position of the windshield wipers on the glass with adhesive tape. Press the protective caps over the windshield wiper arm axles with a small screwdriver and fold them back.
Loosen the mounting nut with an open-end wrench approximately two turns.
Lift the wiper arm and gently push it back and forth to release it from the wiper shaft cone. Use two flat-head screwdrivers to gently pry the firmly seated arms away from the wiper shaft.
To avoid scratching the varnish, place a cloth around the mount.
Lower the wiper arm and completely unscrew the nut.
Remove the wiper arm together with the nut from the shaft.
Install the wiper arm so that it matches the marking on the glass. After installation, check that it works correctly. The blades should not catch on each other or extend beyond the glass surface.
Rear wiper
Mark the resting position of the wiper blade on the glass with adhesive tape.
Press the protective cap, loosen the fastening nut with an overhead wrench by about two turns.
Lift the wiper arm and gently push it back and forth to release it from the wiper shaft cone. If the arms are firmly seated, gently push them away from the wiper shaft using two flat-head screwdrivers. Place a rag around the mount to avoid scratching the varnish.
Lower the wiper arm and completely unscrew the nut.
Remove the wiper arm together with the nut from the shaft.
Set the wiper arm to the marked position.
