Removing and installing windshield wiper arms (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. If you need to remove the windshield wiper arms, close the hood.

2. With the arms in their original position, mark the position of the wipers on the glass using wax or tape.

3. Lift the plastic cap from the base of the wiper arm and loosen the nut one or two turns (see Fig. 15.3).



4. Lift the lever and separate it from the conical end of the shaft.

5. Completely unscrew the nut and remove the lever from the shaft (see Fig. 15.5).

Installation

6. Installation - 8 in the reverse order of removal. Install the lever according to the marks made during removal.
