Removal and installation of the electric motor of system of an inclination of a headlight

Withdrawal

1. Before making any adjustments, set the system switch to "ABOUT".

2. Remove the headlight assembly (paragraph 7). Then remove the cover.

3. Disconnect the electric motor connector (see fig.9.3).

Release models up to 1996

4. Rotate the motor up so that its axis is approximately 60°from the vertical. Then pull it forward slightly.

5. Disconnect the adjusting shaft by pressing the ball joint to one side from the socket located on the reflector.

Release models since 1997

6. Remove the motor mounting screws on the back of the headlight assembly and disconnect the linkage ball joint end of the linkage (see Fig.9.6, a, b).

All models

7. Pull the motor out of the headlight assembly.

Installation

8. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. The engine must be turned down. The system switch must remain in the position "ABOUT". Install the engine and attach the adjustment drive to it. Finally, check the operation of the system and adjust the direction of the headlight beam (paragraph 8).
