Removal



1. Loosen the front wheel nuts on the corresponding side.

2. Raise and support the vehicle and remove the front wheel.

3. Remove the brake caliper without disconnecting the hydraulic lines and hang it from the body using soft wire.

4. Unscrew the brake disc mounting screw and remove the disc.

5. Remove the cotter pins and unscrew the crown nuts of the ball joints from the steering knuckle.

6. Press the steering rod ball joint out of the steering knuckle using tool 13.006.

7. Press the ball joint of the control arm out of the steering knuckle using a puller.

8. Unscrew the lower suspension strut mounting clamp bolt from the steering knuckle.

9. Disconnect the suspension strut from the steering knuckle using tool 14.026 and remove the steering knuckle.

Installation



To install the steering knuckle, perform the steps in reverse order to the removal process.
