Disassembly
1. Remove the suspension strut.
2. Clamp the lower part of the suspension strut in a vice.
3. Install spring compressor tool 14.021 and compress the suspension spring.
4. Unscrew the nut securing the suspension strut support gasket, locking the shock absorber rod with a 6 mm Allen key.
5. Remove the support gasket, support bearing, upper spring support plate, rubber boot, and compressed spring together with the tool.
6. Remove the rubber buffer from the shock absorber rod.
7. Check the condition of the parts and the cleanliness of the spring support plates.
Assembly
Assemble the suspension strut by performing the actions in the reverse order in relation to the removal process. Pay attention to the correct installation of the spring in the support plates.
