Disassembly
1. Remove suspension strut.
2. Clamp the lower part of the suspension strut in a vise.
3. Fit spring compression tool 14.021 and compress suspension spring.
4. Unscrew the suspension strut mounting nut while blocking the shock absorber rod with a 6 mm hex wrench.
5. Remove the support washer, support bearing, top spring seat, rubber boot, and compressed spring with tool.
6. Remove the rubber buffer from the shock absorber rod.
7. Check the condition of the parts and the cleanliness of the spring bearing plates.
Assembly
Assemble the suspension strut by following the steps in reverse order to the removal process. Pay attention to the correct installation of the spring in the support plates.
