When measuring, the car must be on a horizontal surface.
The engine must be warmed up to operating temperature.
After stopping the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to collect in the pan.
Remove the oil level indicator from the engine and wipe it with a clean cloth.

Then insert the oil level indicator until it stops and pull it out again. The oil level should be in the area between the two marks MIN and MAX. The difference in oil volume in the engine sump between the marks MIN and MAX on the oil level indicator is approximately 0.5 to 1.0 liters.
New oil should be added to the engine only when the oil level approaches the lower mark.
The oil level is replenished through the filler neck on the cylinder head cover. When replenishing the level, use oil of the appropriate brand, do not use any additives to the oil.
Caution: Never fill the engine oil above the MAX mark. Too high a level of engine oil during operation may cause damage to the catalytic converter or engine seals.
