Engine and exhaust system

In accordance with the maintenance card, the following work must be carried out:

Engine: oil level check. Changing oil and oil filter.

Engine: visual inspection of the lubrication system for leaks.

Valve clearance adjustment (not required for DOHC engines and all engines built since 9/94).

ONS engine: Tighten the intake manifold with the prescribed torque.

V6 engine up to 8/94: Retighten the fastening at the head on the intake side with the prescribed torque.

Cooling and heating systems: checking the liquid level. Checking the concentration of antifreeze. Visual check of tightness and external contamination of the radiator.

Cooling and heating systems: changing the coolant (not required if the cooling system was last filled with a mixture of FORD-Super Plus 4 antifreeze and water).

Petrol engine: check and, if necessary, replace spark plugs

Diesel engine: removing water from the fuel filter.

Fuel filter: replacement.

V-belt / V-ribbed belt: check tension and condition.

Air filter: Replace the replaceable filter element.

ONS engine: replace the crankcase ventilation valve.

Exhaust system: check for damage.

Air conditioning system: check filling.
