Engine and exhaust system (Mondeo 1)

The following points must be carried out according to the maintenance plan:

Engine: oil change, visual inspection for oil leaks.

Checking the coolant level and antifreeze concentration in it. Visually checking for leaks and contamination of the radiator.

Diesel: Checking and adjusting valve clearances, see paragraph 1.17.

V-belt: checking tension and condition.

Diesel fuel filter: dehydration or replacement.

Spark plugs: replacement (petrol engine).

Intake air filter: replacing the filter insert.

Replacing the fuel filter of a gasoline engine

Replacing the CVT exhaust gas valve of a diesel engine.

Cleaning and lubricating the pulse air filter of a gasoline engine.

Replacing the timing belt.

Exhaust gas device: check for damage.

Diesel: Tightening the turbocharger and exhaust manifold bolts.
