The coolant level should be checked at regular intervals - approximately every four weeks - at least before each long journey. To top up - also in warm weather - use a mixture of antifreeze and clean water with a low lime content.

Attention! In order to be able to continue the trip, you can, especially in summer, add clean water. However, at the first opportunity, adjust the concentration of antifreeze.

The coolant level when the engine is cold (coolant temperature is about 20°C) should be at the MAX "2" mark in the expansion tank.

To avoid damaging the engine, add cold coolant only when the engine is cold.

Caution! When the engine is hot, open the plug one turn first to reduce the pressure. When opening, place a rag on the plug. Open the plug only when the coolant temperature is below 90°C. Risk of scalding!

Check the circuit for leaks if the coolant level drops significantly in a short period of time.
