Checking the coolant level

            0

The coolant level should be checked at regular intervals - about every four weeks - at least before every long trip. For topping up - also in the warm season - use a mixture of antifreeze and clean water with a low lime content.

Attention! In order to be able to continue the trip, you can, especially in summer, top up with clean water. However, adjust the antifreeze concentration as soon as possible.

Coolant level when engine is cold (coolant temperature approx. 20°C) must be at the MAX mark -2- in the expansion tank.

To avoid damaging the engine, add cold coolant only when the engine is cold.

Attention! With a hot engine, first open the plug one turn to relieve pressure. When opening, put a rag on the cork. Open the plug only when the coolant temperature is below 90 'C. Danger of scalding!

Check the tightness of the circuit if the coolant level has dropped significantly in a short time.
