Diesel: Tightening the turbocharger and intake manifold bolts (Mondeo 1)

No special tool is required.

Remove the air filter, see p. 5.6.

Remove the charge air radiator, see item 1.9.

Caution: Be careful not to damage the O-ring between the charge air radiator and the turbocharger, replace if necessary.



Tighten the intake manifold bolts crosswise to 25 Nm.



Tighten the turbocharger mounting bolts to the manifold to 40 Nm.
