- The junction between the engine block and the gearbox (flywheel seal / shaft seal - gearbox).
- The joint of the gearbox housing halves.
- Screw plug of the oil filler neck/drain hole.
- All-wheel drive model: gearbox - cardan shaft.
When searching for a leak, proceed as follows:
Clean the transmission housing with cold cleaner.
Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
Sprinkle chalk or talc on areas where oil may leak.
Test drive. To liquefy the oil, drive at a higher speed of approximately 30 km.
Then lift the car and inspect the gearbox with a lamp for the oil leak.
Fix the oil leak immediately. Then top up, see p. 10.6.
