The automatic transmission has three forward gears and one reverse gear with limited torque converter slippage depending on the selected gear. To engage the reverse gear of the manual transmission, you must first press the gearshift lever and, holding it down, move it to the "AR" position (see Fig. 7). The main gear is cylindrical, helical. The differential is bevel, two-satellite.

Oil level in manual transmission
ATTENTION: The oil in the gearbox is not changed, and there is no drain hole on the gearbox housing.
The oil level is checked and topped up if necessary every 10,000 km. The operation is performed on a horizontal platform through the filler hole after several minutes have passed since the engine has stopped. Normal oil level: up to the edge of the filler hole.
NOTE: Before screwing the plug into the hole, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the plug and the crankcase from dirt (see Fig. 8).

Wheel drive shafts
Front wheel drive with constant velocity joint shafts. Check the tightness and fastening of the drive shaft joint boots every 10,000 km.
