The brake fluid level with the cap closed should not be above the "MAX" mark and not below the "MIN" mark.
To top up, use new brake fluid of Super DOT4 or Ford-ESD-M6C57A specification.
As a result of brake lining wear, the brake fluid level drops slightly. This is normal.
If the brake fluid level has dropped significantly in a short period of time, this is a sign of a brake fluid leak. The leak location should be identified immediately. As a rule, these are worn cuffs in the wheel brake cylinders. For driving safety, have the brake system checked by a specialized repair shop.
