Checking the rubber cuff of the cardan shaft

Raise the vehicle.



Pay attention to visible traces of greasing on a cuff -1- and near it.

Check the tightness of the fixing clamps -2-.

Examine the cuff rubber for porosity and cracks by illuminating them with a lamp. Cracked or retracted protective shells of hinges must be replaced immediately.
