The following wear parts need to be purchased as replacements: Replacement air filter element. When purchasing, keep in mind that different replacement elements are required depending on the power of the installed engine.
Caution: Do not blow compressed air through the air filter element.
Carburetor engine
Removal
Unscrew the 4 mounting bolts and release the clamps, remove the cover and take out the replaceable filter element.
Wipe the filter housing with a cloth.
Installation
Insert the new replacement element into the air filter housing. Place the cover on top, snap the quick-release clamps into place and tighten the mounting bolts.
Fuel injection engine and turbocharged diesel engine
Removal
Turbocharged diesel engine
Engine with injection system
Release the "arrow" clamps and tilt the filter housing cover to the side.
Remove the replaceable filter element.
Wipe the filter housing with a cloth.
Installation
Insert the new replacement element into the air filter housing.
Place the lid on top and snap the clamps into place.
Connect and secure the air intake hose with a clamp.
Naturally aspirated diesel engine
Removal
Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the air filter housing cover
Remove the replaceable filter element.
Wipe the filter housing with a cloth.
Installation
Insert the new replacement element into the air filter housing.
Place the lid on top and tighten the fastening nuts.
