Made from sheet steel, the fuel tank is mounted in front of the rear axle and is held in place by two plates.

The mechanical diaphragm pump is driven by an eccentric on the intermediate shaft.

Fuel supply pressure: 24–41 kPa.

On vehicles with an injection system, an electric fuel pump is used, with a capacity of 0.8 l/min.
