Fuel Pump Inertia Switch Location on Estate Models

The inertia switch is shown by the arrow.
The inertia fuel switch stops the fuel supply to the system in the event of an emergency. The supply is stopped by disconnecting the power supply to the fuel pump.
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Open the trunk door, remove the trunk trim and disconnect the connector from the switch installed near the door lock striker (left picture - early models, right picture - late models).
3. Unscrew the two mounting screws and remove the inertia fuel supply switch.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
