Removing and installing the fuel cut-off switch (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (Chapter 5, paragraph 1).

2. Remove the trim panel from the left footwell.

3. Bend the sound-insulating material away from the switch and remove the two mounting screws (see Fig. 11.3).



4. Disconnect the switch electrical connector and pull out the switch.

Installation

5. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that the switch is in its original position by pressing its red button.
