Ignition switch — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.

2. Remove the bottom section of the instrument panel.

• 1.Remove the screws.
• 2.Unfasten the clip.

3. Disconnect the top casing of a steering column. Using a fine tip screwdriver, unfasten the two clips (one on each side).



4. Remove the audio control switch (in the presence of).

• 1.Using a screwdriver with a fine tip, release the locking element.
• 2.Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Remove the lower casing of a steering column.

• 1.Release the steering lock lever.
• 2.Remove the screws.
• Remove the ignition key.

6. Disconnect electrical connectors.

• Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
• Disconnect the turn signal/headlight switch and headlight signaling switch electrical connector.

7. Remove the ignition switch. Loosen the clamps.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
