Ignition switch with anti-theft device

The ignition switch lock is located on the right side of the steering column and is operated by a special key. Each car comes with two keys.

It is recommended to keep a label with the key number separately or overwrite the number with the order. to speed up the receipt of a duplicate in case of loss or breakage of the key.

0 - the steering column is blocked by an anti-theft device. the ignition circuits are de-energized To unlock the steering column and apply voltage to the electrical circuits of the car, you need to insert the key into the ignition lock and. while slightly shaking the steering wheel, turn the key clockwise to position I.

I - the steering column is unlocked, but the electrical circuits, except for the on-board radio power supply circuit, are de-energized.

II - all electrical circuits are energized When towing the car, set the ignition key to this position.

NOTE Do not leave the key in this position for a long time - when the engine is not running, the ignition coil becomes very hot and may fail.


III - the position of short-term voltage supply to the starter traction relay when the engine is started. The key is not fixed in this position - the return spring returns the key to position II.
