- Pull the lever under the steering column cover as far as it will go (pic. 1).
- Use your fingers to press the safety latch located on the inner front of the hood just to the right of the company emblem.
- Raise the hood and lock it in the upper position with the stop.
To close the hood:
- Remove the stop by slightly lifting the hood and put it in place;
- Allow the hood to drop under its own weight and check that the lock is securely closed.
THE NOTE Operation of the lock and a safety latch is subject to check through each 10000 km of run. Lubrication is updated as needed.
