Checkpoints under the hood

There are some very simple checks that will only take you a few minutes but will save you a lot of time and money down the line. "Weekly checks" do not require much experience and special tools, as well as a significant investment of time.

Inspecting tires and checking their pressure will not only prevent premature tire wear, but can also protect your life.

Many malfunctions occur due to malfunctions in electrical circuits. This is especially true for batteries. Regular, at least a cursory external inspection often prevents most problems.

If your brake fluid is leaking, this can result in reduced brake performance. Checking the reserve fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir will help prevent this kind of problem.

Low oil or coolant levels in the engine can lead to very costly repairs. Therefore, it is much cheaper to regularly monitor their level and, if a leak is detected, find and eliminate the cause in time.
