…turn the emblem counterclockwise to open it.

Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it counterclockwise - the hood will rise slightly..

…then turn the key clockwise and lift the hood.

Remove the stop from the holder…

Remove the stop from the holder…


…and install it in a special socket in the hood.

NOTE: Immediately after opening the hood, remove the key from the lock cylinder to avoid losing or damaging it, and return the emblem to its original position.


WARNING: When lowering the hood, check that the lock operates reliably: a characteristic click should be heard when locking.


WARNING: To avoid dents on the front surface of the hood, close the hood by slamming it down, releasing it from a height of 15–20 cm from the top edge of the front shield.
