To gain access to the engine compartment…



…pull the hood release lever towards you.



Then lift the hood and through the gap that appears, press your finger on the protrusion of the safety hook, moving it in the direction shown by the arrow.



Remove the stop from the holder…



…and install it in a special socket in the hood.

Attention! When closing the hood, check the reliability of the lock: a characteristic click should be heard at the moment of locking.
