Ignition key coding for anti-theft system (Scorpio 2)

Insert the red master key into the ignition switch and turn to position II.

When the indicator on the instrument panel lights up, turn the key to position 0 and remove it from the ignition. The indicator will now light for about 2 seconds, after which the coding process must be completed within 10 seconds.

Insert the non-coded key into the ignition switch and turn it to position II. Coding is confirmed by the indicator lighting up.

At the service station, you can replace the master key, set a new code, and also delete the code from an already coded key. Such actions are performed, for example, when the ignition key is lost.
