Removing and installing the gas pedal (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. In the driver's footwell, disconnect the cable from the pedal. Pull the end and bushing out of the pedal. Then, pull the cable out of the pedal slot.

2. Loosen the mounting nuts and bolts, and then remove the pedal assembly (see Fig. 6.2).

Installation

3. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the cable(s) as indicated in paragraph 5.
