Removing and installing the gas pedal

Withdrawal

1. In the driver's footwell, disconnect the cable from the pedal. Pull the tip and sleeve out of the pedal. Then pull the cable out of the pedal slot.

2. Remove the mounting nuts and bolts, and then remove the pedal assembly (see fig. 6.2).

Installation

3. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Adjust cable (s), as indicated in paragraph 5.
