Removing and installing roll valves

Attention! Before you begin, please read the caution in paragraph 1 this chapter.

Withdrawal

1. Remove the fuel tank (paragraph 9).

2. Remove the two tilt valves from the tank and remove the third valve from its support. Be careful not to damage the valves or tank. Remove the rubber seals from the tank openings and replace them if they are worn, broken or leaking.

3. If you suspect any of the valves are defective, check with your dealers to see if the valves can be replaced individually. If not, then you need to replace the valve assembly along with the pipe.

Installation

4. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that both roll valves are pressed against the seal so that there is no leakage through these places.
