Removal
1. Remove the fuel tank (paragraph 9).
2. Remove the two tilt valves from the tank and remove the third valve from its support. Be careful not to damage the valves or the tank. Remove the rubber seals from the tank openings and replace them if they are worn, damaged, or leaking.
3. If you suspect that any of the valves are faulty, consult with your dealer to see if the valves can be replaced individually. If not, the entire valve assembly and pipe must be replaced.
Installation
4. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that both tilt valves are pressed against the seal so that leaks through these places are excluded.
