Replacing the fuel filter on engines with a fuel injection system (Scorpio 1)

1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Raise the front of the car.

3. Place a suitable container under the filter.

4. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.

5. Disconnect the hoses from the fuel pump.

6. Loosen the filter mounting bolts and remove the filter.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, while the arrows on the filter should show the direction of fuel flow.
