Fuel System Wiring Harness (1.6L Duratec)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the fuel injection harness connector.



2. Disconnect the plug connector of the camshaft position sensor (SMR).



3. Disconnect the fuel supply wiring harness from the positive crankcase ventilation hose clamp (PCV).



4. Disconnect the plug connector of the temperature and manifold absolute pressure sensor (T-MAP).




5. Disconnect the plug connector of the idle air control valve (IAC).



6. Disconnect the PCV hoses from the intake manifold and place them aside.



7. Disconnect the fuel supply wiring harness from the fuel manifold.



8. Disconnect the plug connectors for the fuel injectors.




9. Disconnect the air filter outlet pipe from the throttle body and position it aside.



10. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector (TR).



11. Disconnect the plug connector of the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT).

• 1. Remove the ECT clip.
• 2. Disconnect the ECT plug from the thermostat housing.

12. Remove the fuel supply wiring harness.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
