Fuel Delivery System Wiring Harness (1.6L Duratec) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the fuel injection system wiring harness plug connector.



2. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor (CMP) plug connector.



3. Disconnect the fuel injection system wiring harness from the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp.



4. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure and temperature (T-MAP) sensor connector.





5. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve connector.



6. Disconnect the PCV hoses from the intake manifold and place them aside.



7. Disconnect the fuel injection system wiring harness from the fuel rail.



8. Disconnect the fuel injector plugs.





9. Disconnect the air cleaner outlet pipe from the throttle body and place it aside.



10. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor connector.



11. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor connector.

• 1. Remove the ECT clamp.
• 2. Disconnect the ECT plug from the thermostat housing.

12. Remove the fuel supply system wiring harness.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
